1. How does BOTOX treatment work?
Those moderate to severe frown lines between your brows form over time as the result of muscle activity. That’s why we inject directly into the muscles between your brows. It treatment then works by blocking the transmission of nerve impulses to the injected muscles; this reduces the activity of the muscles that cause those persistent lines to form.
2. When will I see results from a BOTOX treatment?
Within days of receiving your injections, you may see a marked improvement in the moderate to severe frown lines between your brows. Lines continue to improve for up to a month, and results can last for up to 6 months.

10. PRP treatment procedure and side effects
Before treatment, a local or topical anaesthesia cream is typically applied to numb the area. Treatment, which lasts around 40 minutes in total, involves taking vials (about 8ml to 16ml each) of blood from the patient. This is spun in a centrifuge to separate the plasma from the red blood cells. Depending on the size of the area to be treated, as many as six vials may be taken.
The patient's PRP is then injected intra and subdermally into the treatment area. The procedure is relatively quick, with minor discomfort. Patients are told to expect a degree of redness, swelling and minor bruising, but this usually subsides within a day. If more significant bruising occurs, it may take a week to 10 days to fade.
11. How long do PRP results last?
Because the natural healing process takes time, results appear gradually and become apparent over a four to six-week period. Maximum collagen development generally occurs between four and six months. Regen PRP can be a one-off procedure but several treatments spaced a month apart may be required to achieve desired results.
The patient can expect to see ongoing changes and improvement in the skin for between 12 and 18 months. Patients are typically advised to return for a maintenance treatment every 12 months.
